St Mary's Glacier Poster

Nation Ski Patrol Back Board
We found this vintage Nation Ski Patrol backboard at a local consignment shop. The back board is from a local Ohio ski resort Brandywine. We got the hair pin legs from one of our web design clients of a sister company, hairpinlegs.com and had the base cut using the CNC our other sister company uses to make Scuba Tank Racks, scubatankrack.com. The board sits on top of the base with the legs on rails so the vintage item is not damaged in any way.

Wood Flooring
When we started, the floors had white stained carpet everywhere including the closet. We removed the carpet and found the original hardwood underneath full of nails, screws and staples and covered with paint splatter and streaks. After days of cleaning the paint was removed. Several coats of floor finish later the character of the flooring was restored.

Farm Implement Wall Storage
The wall storage is made from old rusty farm equipment. Probably parts from a grain lift of some type. We cleaned the pieces with a wire brush to remove the loose rust and expose bits of the underlying red/orange paint in areas. After a couple layers of high gloss clear coat we were mounted them to the wall.

Theater Seats
The rumor goes that these chairs are from a remodeled building close to the site of the Oklahoma City bombing. The seats were given to people who worked in the building as a gift. This made it to us through a series of contacts and relationships in Ohio.

Grinding/Sharpening Stone End Table
This end table was made from an old mechanics stool that had lost its seat a while back and a grinding or sharpening stone found holding a door open at a local shop. A perfect match of old and new items in a functional piece of furniture.

Hanging Lights
Globe string lights were rearranged in a falling pattern for a unique look from a simple product.

Las Vegas Poster
This photo was taken in Las Vegas at the Neon Boneyard at the Neon Museum and printed as a 4' x 3' poster mounted on a PVC sheet.

Vintage Skis
We found these vintage skis made by Harvey E. Dodds Ltd. of Toronto, Canada at an outdoor flee market around Cincinnati Ohio. These skis were dried out and dirty from decades of neglect. After some cleaning and treating with Tung Oil it came back to life.

Corrugated Wall
The wall was covered in white corrugated plastic for a unique modern effect and to brighten up the small space.
